Nathan Higgins becomes Hatch Mott MacDonald’s Rail & Transit Practice Leader in Canada

A licensed professional engineer, Higgins has over 23 years of experience in the industry with extensive North American experience in the planning, survey, design, inspection and construction of transportation projects.

Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) announces that Nathan Higgins, P.E., has been named senior vice president and Canadian practice leader - Rail & Transit. In his new position, Nathan will ensure the successful delivery of rail and transit projects, advancing the continuing growth of Hatch Mott MacDonald's railway and rail transit business across Canada.

A licensed professional engineer, Higgins has over 23 years of experience in the industry with extensive North American experience in the planning, survey, design, inspection and construction of transportation projects and continues to actively contribute as a leader on various committees within AREMA and APTA. He has led major transit programs and administered numerous multi-discipline design and construction projects. He has had overall responsibility for project implementation, team building, multiple-agency coordination, program controls for budget, schedule and quality through design, construction and commissioning on freight railways, commuter rail, light rail and high-speed railway systems.

Higgins will be based in the Calgary office of Hatch Mott MacDonald.
