Parsons Brinckerhoff Halsall creates Transportation Advisory Board for Canada

Parsons Brinckerhoff Halsall Inc. has created a transportation advisory board of eminent Canadians from business and government to provide guidance on emerging trends and business opportunities to assist its Canadian operations.

Parsons Brinckerhoff Halsall Inc., the Canadian operating company of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization, has created a transportation advisory board of eminent Canadians from business and government to provide guidance on emerging trends and business opportunities to assist its Canadian operations.

The board includes Ernie Eves, former premier of Ontario; David Collenette, former federal minister of transportation; Janet Ecker, former Ontario finance minister; Bob Onyschuk, former chair of the Canadian Urban Institute; Remo Mancini, former Ontario revenue minister; and Mike Hardt, former senior executive with Bombardier.

Parsons Brinckerhoff Halsall Inc. has seven offices across Canada, including Toronto. Among the firm's current transportation projects in Canada are the Eglinton Scarborough Crosstown Rapid Transit and York Spadina Subway Extension in Toronto on behalf of the Toronto Transit Commission.

The Halsall group of companies, including Halsall Associates, Pivotal Projects, and Loop Initiatives, was acquired by Parsons Brinckerhoff in October 2010. Halsall has 350 employees in seven offices throughout Canada.
