Timothy White Joins Parsons Brinckerhoff as Senior Supervising Engineer

In his new position, White will serve as manager of safety and security for the general engineering consultant on the Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project, a 20-mile-long rail line connecting West Oahu with Honolulu.

Timothy White has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Honolulu office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization.

In his new position, White will serve as manager of safety and security for the general engineering consultant on the Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project, a 20-mile-long rail line connecting West Oahu with Honolulu. He is a Certified Safety Professional with over 31 years of experience as an environmental health and safety professional. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was executive director of safety for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). During his 23-year career with MARTA, he also served as manager of system safety programs and as an environmental safety officer.

White received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental health from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals. He holds a Transportation Safety Institute certificate for transit safety and security and has been an instructor for the organization's rail transit system safety and transit industrial safety programs.
