Westcode Wins Contract to Build new HVAC Systems for METROLINX Airport Line

Westcode Inc., has been selected by both Nippon-Sharyo of Japan and METROLINX to build the Air Comfort Systems for Toronto’s newest and first DMU commuter line the Airport Express.

Westcode Inc., has been selected by both Nippon-Sharyo of Japan and METROLINX to build the Air Comfort Systems for Toronto’s newest and first DMU commuter line the Airport Express. The up to 36 HVAC Systems (24 in Base Order) will feature state-of-the-art microprocessor controls and be designed and manufactured at Westcode’s West Chester, Pa. facility. Westcode has production facilities in West Chester, Pa, Binghamton, N.Y. and Calne, England. Westcode is a leading designer and supplier of HVAC and door operating systems, also designing and manufacturing leveling and compensating valves together with other rolling stock products.
