ABC Companies recognized their 2010 sales achievement winners during their recent National Sales Meeting.

Ashley Cornell, vice president of ABC CustomerCare, recognized all of the field service technicians for their “team achievements” in after sales support in 2010. These individuals were Sam Miller, Daniel Flores, Nathan Zimmerman, David Cramer, John Fountain, Carl Blanck, and John West.

Wade Norton, director of sales for ABC Parts, presented the Sales Achievement Awards to James Maltby and John Peckels. Each was recognized as Best Performing Territory Manager in two separate classifications. Peckels was recognized for outstanding performance against target programs and products, while Maltby’s recognition came from outstanding performance in the public sector parts business. Norton stated, “Both of these individuals have performed at a very high level and withstood the challenge of the economy and overall business climate. They fully understand the importance of 'customer delight' and exceeding a customer’s expectation is valued and appreciated.”

The Coach Sales Awards were presented to four individuals — recognized for their achievements in sales and their strong commitment to customer satisfaction. There were two co-winners for the 2010 Account Executive of the Year Award. Jay Oakman and Jeff Backer tied for the top ranking for new equipment sales and customer service. Oakman is responsible for sales and customer support in the Northeastern Region while Backer is positioned in ABC’s Western Region.

Charlie Walser, a senior account executive and 25-year veteran with ABC, was honored as runner-up. Walser’s territory is the southern third of California in ABC’s Western Region. Jim Morrison, a 15-year veteran in the Southeastern region, was awarded second runner-up.

Roman Cornell, vice president of national sales, remarked, “ABC is proud to recognize these individuals for their achievements during 2010. However, we applaud all of our team members who have excelled at building great customer relationships and providing the type of support our customers can expect from every aspect of ABC Companies.”
