New Flyer Industries Inc. announces the appointment of Keith Sheardown to the New Flyer aftermarket team to lead the planning and implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (“VMI”) Services.

New Flyer Industries Inc. announces the appointment of Keith Sheardown to the New Flyer aftermarket team to lead the planning and implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (“VMI”) Services. Sheardown brings a tremendous amount of industry knowledge and experience to New Flyer and, with his guidance, the company will leverage its long-standing and extensive parts supply network to create and deliver industry-leading services and support to our customers.

Sheardown will report directly to Hans Peper, executive vice president, customer services and will be responsible for VMI strategy development and implementation and business development activities for the aftermarket team.

Sheardown brings significant transit industry experience, including the area of aftermarket support. Most recently, Sheardown spent over 10 years with Bombardier Transportation; his last position was general manager, technology solutions, where he was involved in all aspects of supply chain management as well as vehicle maintenance and reliability performance for large rail customers. Prior to that, Sheardown held senior management positions in the aftermarket parts and transit bus manufacturing sectors.
