Ibrahim Muftic has been named a Supervising Engineer in the San Francisco office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization.
In his new position, Muftic will serve as a train control systems specialist on the California High Speed Rail project. He has over 12 years of experience in designing systems for rail signaling, train control and communications. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he worked on the development of various rail projects in Europe and the Middle East with engineering and design consultancies, the Croatian Ministry of Transportation and the International Union of Railways .
Muftic holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computing from Zagreb University in Croatia. He is a member of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
