The City of Wichita will roll out a zero-emission, battery-electric bus as part of their initiative to expand public transportation options.
The Proterra electric bus was showcased in a demonstration Wednesday at the Wichita Transit Administrative Campus.
City officials say the the bus will result in cleaner air, quieter runs through neighborhoods and better fuel efficiency.
