Ukrainian railways fully adapted for running of new high-speed trains. This was stressed by vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov at the inaugurating the Training Centre for training drivers of electric trains manufactured by the Hyundai Rotem at the Darnytsia station.

"A railroad is fully adapted to the speed of movement of new trains. On the routes from the capital to Lviv, Kharkiv and Donetsk speeds reach 160-180 km per hour", - Borys Kolesnikov said. On behalf of vice Prime Minister of Ukraine with such speed railway will become an equal competitor to aviation. However, to close to European conditions of passenger service we have to change the system and selling train tickets.

"We will qualitatively change the system and ticket sales: that is, each of the stages - from buying a ticket until travel - should be as comfortable," - he said. Borys Kolesnikov was pleased with the new exercise equipment, including simulation of real conditions of trains. Training on the new machine of Ukrainian drivers who will have to provide not only comfortable but also safe movement of new trains will be started since Monday, March 26.
