UT: UTA Employees Help Passengers "Train for Safety"

Utah Transit Authority continued its efforts to promote save behavior around trains with a "train for safety" day on Tuesday.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah Transit Authority continued its efforts to promote save behavior around trains with a "train for safety" day on Tuesday.

UTA employees visited TRAX stations throughout the city to share safety informaiton and educate riders about safety on the train platforms. UTA has launched initiatives to raise awareness about train safety in the wake of a recent increase in accidents on TRAX and FrontRunner.
