The Moscow city authorities have increased the charter capital of Moscow Metro, the operator of the city's metro system, by 10 billion rubles, a source in the city government said Wednesday, as cited by RIA Novosti.

"The decree on boosting the charter capital (of Moscow Metro) was signed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," the source said without providing any further details.

The city authorities injected 11.20 billion rubles and 7.68 billion rubles into the charter capital of Moscow Metro in June and September respectively.

Information of the origin size of the company's charter capital was not available.
