MA: Four Chances to Take a Ride Aboard 'The Polar Express'

Marshield - The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield is partnering with the MBTA to offer holiday train rides to the North Pole on Saturday, Dec. 17.

The hour-long, round-trip rides will depart from the Kingston commuter rail station and recreate the journey depicted in the famous holiday story "The Polar Express." All tickets are $20, and the proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club.

There are four departure times: 11:45 a.m., 1:45 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. They will be treated to caroling elves, cookies and hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Group discounts are available for the first two trains. To buy tickets, call 781-834-2582 or go to MarshfieldPolarExpress.com.
