A 22-year-old D.C. woman is the latest person to use the Metro system to kill herself, according to the transit agency. The woman jumped from theof the platform at Bethesda station as a Glenmont-bound train was pulling in at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said. She died at the scene.

Camera footage, a witness account and the train operators comments all lead Metro to believe she did it intentionally, he said. Her name was not released. Her death was the ninth on the transit system so far this year, and the seventh suicide, according to Metro.
