Calgary Transit Bus Extensively Damaged by Fire

At approximately 630 a.m. the Calgary Fire Department responded to McLeod Trail just south of Southland Drive SE for a reports of a bus fire.

The following information was released by the City of Calgary:

At approximately 630 a.m. the Calgary Fire Department responded to McLeod Trail just south of Southland Drive SE for a reports of a bus fire. Upon arrival crews discovered a large Calgary Transit bus fully involved with fire. The bus sustained extensive fire damage despite having the fire quickly extinguished by crews. The operator of the bus was the only occupant on the bus at the time. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
