StarTran Software, LLC (StarTran) has been acquired by TransTrack Solutions Group (TransTrack), allowing TransTrack to expand its enterprise asset management (EAM) offerings.
“StarTran’s focus on rolling stock and facilities management tools, as well as transit asset management complements our current offering and helps fill a void in the public transit market EAM space for small to mid-sized agencies,” said TransTrack General Manager Dave Jackson. “We look forward to welcoming the StarTran team and its customers to TransTrack.”
TransTrack is a comprehensive data management and transit business analytics platform providing National Transit Database reporting tools and consulting services with the TransTrack Manager software. With the acquisition of StarTran, TransTrack says it can efficiently and successfully incorporate maintenance EAM services, including management of parts and facilities inventory, scheduling, work orders and warranty tracking. The updated system is in full compliance with federal and state reporting requirements, and National Transit Database reporting guidelines.
