Rabbittransit welcomes new chief operating officer

Trevor Manahan has been selected for the position.

Rabbittransit has selected Trevor Manahan as its next chief operating officer with oversight of agency facility operations.

Manahan most recently served as plant manager for Minerals Technologies in York, Pa. He was previously the operations manager, plant manager and multi-plant safety manager for Graham Architectural Products. He brings more than twenty years of operations management expertise to a fast-growing public transit agency in central Pennsylvania, which provides fixed route and paratransit mobility services across ten counties in the region.

“Trevor has extensive senior management experience,” said Rabbittransit Executive Director Richard Farr.  “He brings a results-oriented focus on through continuous improvement strategies and employee engagement. We welcome him to the Rabbittransit management team.” 

Manahan said his initial focus is to “ensure and improve employee and rider satisfaction, safety, as well as overall work process improvement and standardization.”

The Central Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (publicly known as rabbittransit) is a transportation provider offering a variety of transit services and mobility options to the residents of Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Franklin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties.

Manahan resides in the York area with his spouse and their two sons.
