‘A Train’ Arrives at LTK

LTK Engineering Services has welcomed and introduced Sarah Wineman and Brian Leibowitz as the newest additions to LTK's staff.

LTK Engineering Services has welcomed and introduced Sarah Wineman and Brian Leibowitz as the newest additions to LTK's staff.

Wineman and Leibowitz previously served as president and vice president, respectively, of A Train Enterprises, an engineering services company they operated for the past 19 years.

“We are delighted to be able to contribute to the well-known, broad and substantial capabilities of LTK, and we look forward to serving the transit industry for many years to come,” the two said in a statement.

Wineman has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the transit industry supporting new vehicle procurements and overhauls. She joins LTK’s Vehicle Engineering Structural Group as a senior engineer.

Leibowitz has a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has 30 years of experience in testing and development of processing equipment, including 19 years in the transit industry. He joins LTK’s Vehicle Engineering Structural Group as a senior consultant. While with A Train Enterprises, they worked on projects for Bay Area Rapid Transit, Caltrans, the San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation.

“We are pleased and excited to have Sarah and Brian join our team,” said LTK President Dominic DiBrito. “They have a reputation for putting their clients’ interests first, and their knowledge and experience will be an asset to our company.”

Wineman and Leibowitz will be based in LTK’s San Francisco office.
