Liebherr-Transportation Systems has opened a new service location in Switzerland. In order to provide Swiss rail vehicle manufacturers and operators with even faster and better support, the service team has set up an office in Reiden, in the Canton of Lucerne, at the premises of Liebherr-Baumaschinen AG.
Reiden is a site that offers ideal conditions for providing customers in the railway sector with tailor-made services for their air conditioning and hydraulic systems even more efficiently than before. Experienced staff, material availability on site and short reaction times are deciding factors.
The range of services includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, system optimizations, warranty support and spare parts management.
“We are happy that we can now offer our customers in Switzerland even more added value when it comes to looking after their fleets”, said Wolfgang Boettcher, head of service at Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH & Co KG, when the office was opened.
