The TMA Group (Transportation Management Association) has unanimously elected the following individuals to serve as Officers of the 2017-19 TMA Board of Directors, effective July 1: Chairman: Glenn McGehee, SouthStar, LLC; Vice-Chair: Rogers Anderson, Williamson County Mayor; Treasurer: Julie Miller, Williamson Medical Center; Secretary: Dr. Shanna Jackson, Columbia State Community College; and Immediate Past Chair: Patrick G. Emery, Spectrum | Emery, Inc.
Glenn McGehee stated, ““I am honored to follow Pat Emery as Chairman of the Board of the TMA Group. As a resident and businessman in Franklin for over 24 years, it is a privilege to serve with such a forward-thinking organization at such a pivotal time in our community as we work to advance innovative transportation solutions that will shape its future. Having been involved in the development of several projects in Franklin and its surrounding communities, I believe that our most notable and valuable projects and assets are the land holdings and developments in the Cool Springs area of Franklin. It is an honor to be involved in pioneering the future of public transportation in the community that I call home.”
McGehee is currently the principal and president of SouthStar, LLC, real estate company focused on the development of medical related assets, mixed-use developments, grocery-anchored developments, and single tenant assets. Since 2008, SouthStar, LLC has conceived and executed leases, land purchases and developments in excess of $200 million in value. Mr. McGehee is chairman of the Cool Springs Transportation Task Force; he currently serves on the boards of: Outback America-Nashville, and Mount Dora Children’s Academy and Children’s Home-Mount Dora, FL. Mr. McGehee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Lipscomb University.
Vice-Chairman Rogers Anderson is currently serving his fourth term as Williamson County Mayor; he actively serves on many local, state, and regional boards; he is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Board Treasurer Julie Miller is Chief Operating Officer for Williamson Medical Center. Secretary Dr. Shanna Jackson serves as the Associate Vice President of the new Williamson Campus for Columbia State Community College. Immediate Past Chairman Patrick G. Emery is president of Spectrum | Emery, Inc.; he is a Veteran of the United States Army.
