The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) has been named the 2017 International Partnering Institute Partnering Champion and awarded the International Partnering Institute’s (IPI) highest honor. The IPI Partnering Champion award recognizes organizations that foster collaborations and work to develop high-trust relationships and organizational cultures.

The award aims to highlight the work that CCTA has done in championing partnership with agencies such as the Metropolitan Transportation Commission/Bay Area Toll Authority and cities across the county from San Pablo to Oakley.

"Partnering is at the heart of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority’s approach to construction" stated CCTA Executive Director Randell Iwasaki. “As we continue our partnerships with talented teams from other businesses and agencies, we hope to show that when you work together and support one common goal, the possibilities are truly endless. Thanks to these creative collaborations, both CCTA and our partners have been able to achieve far more than we ever would have individually.”
