Connect Transit’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) has been recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) with its highest honor.
Connect Transit and its Finance Director Patrick Kuebrich have been awarded the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year ended 2016. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by Connect Transit.
The certificate is accompanied by an Award of Financial Reporting Achievement. Connect Transit’s Board of Trustees will formally present the award to Kuebrich at its regular Board meeting on April 25, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., at Connect Transit, 351 Wylie Drive, Normal, Illinois 61761.
