The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation CityBus Center at 316 N. Third St., also known as the downtown transfer station, has expanded its service hours.
The new hours are 7 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. The telephone help line, 765/742-7433, also provides service during these expanded hours.
“We hope the extended CityBus Center hours will be convenient for our riders and improve our customers’ daily travel,” said Marty Sennett, general manager.
During service hours, passengers may wait in the center for their bus, buy passes, ask ride help questions and access other customer services.
CityBus’ administrative offices on Canal Road remain the same, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Riders are encouraged to stay current with the most-up-to-date information by signing up for email and text alerts and using the CityBus real-time mobile bus tracker, DoubleMap. Sign up for text alerts by texting “gocitybus” to 64600. Standard rates apply.
