A major milestone was reached Saturday, January 13th, as the first 3-of-8 new buses arrived at Ozark Regional Transit in Springdale.  These 3 buses represent a permanent replenishment of 20 buses that were lost in a catastrophic fire barely a year ago.

The three are low-floor, medium-duty buses which have a capacity of up to 23 passengers and 2 mobility devices.

Five more buses, from the same purchase order, are expected in the coming days from the factory in Indiana.

“We have more options now, including the ability to return many of the borrowed buses that have gotten us through this past year.” Commented, Joel Gardner, executive director of ORT.
