Ozark Regional Transit has operated a Commuter Express route since early January 2017. The route has been a non-stop trip from Fayetteville to the 8th-&-Walton-area in Bentonville, with a return trip in the afternoon.

The route is being changed to utilize the newly-designated Park & Ride location at the Arkansas Archeological Survey off I-49 Exit 66 and Garland Ave., at 2475 N Hatch Avenue.

Cost-savings related to the move are being passed along to passengers of this service and additional bus pass options have also been incorporated.

The monthly subscription cost has been reduced to $100 per month and September passes are currently for sale.

A new “10-ride” pass has been added as an option for $35, which equates to $3.50 per trip.

Both passes can be purchased using PayPal or a major credit card at ORT’s website.  10-day passes can be mailed or provided as Will-Call from the Commuter Express driver. Subscription passes are digital and emailed.

Walk-on passengers are also welcome, if seating capacity allows, for only $5.00 per trip. This single-pass can be purchased from the driver, with exact change.
