In keeping with the ten-year tradition of the “Kids Ride Free” summer program, Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) has committed to providing this program once again in 2017 on all fixed routes.

ORT is confident the community will take advantage of this program again this year.

All three malls, two aquatic centers, four public libraries, four movie theatres, several parks and museums, the downtown areas of every town that participates in public transit, the Jones Center, and multiple trailheads along the Razorback Greenway all await passengers using the bus system.

The free fare service dates are from Tuesday, May 30, 2017, through Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, and are open to anyone born in 2000 or later; essentially, age 17 or younger. Children under age 12 are required to have an older guardian accompanying them.

Summer lunch programs are offered by local public schools and ORT routes service many of the locations. ORT's website has all of the lunch locations and the pertinent routes to them.
