Thousands of Bay Area residents are expected to participate in the 2015 Bay Area Bike to Work Day. To celebrate Bike to Work Day, SF Bay Ferry will provide free coffee and pastries until 11 a.m. aboard all ferries.
In addition, there will be a bike light giveaway for all passengers at the Vallejo, Alameda Main Street, Oakland Jack London Square, and Harbor Bay ferry terminals. The giveaway begins with the first departure in the morning and ends when bike light supplies are exhausted or at Vallejo with the 10:30 a.m. departure, at Alameda with the 11:35 a.m. departure, or at Oakland with the 11:45 a.m. departure.
SF Bay Ferry supports Bike to Work Day, and has long welcomed bikes aboard all SF Bay Ferry vessels and routes. However, they ask riders plan accordingly this Bike to Work Day as we are near or at capacity on most regular weekday routes.
