Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) is enhancing its commercial bus chassis team with the addition of accomplished industry veteran David Matusz as an OEM account manager.

In his new role, Matusz will develop and pursue custom diesel chassis business opportunities for FCCC’s growing commercial bus division, as well as work closely with OEM partners on product development and implementation. Matusz joined the FCCC team in late May of this year, bringing with him more than 15 years OEM account management experience in the motorhome and bus chassis industry.

“David’s extensive and detailed knowledge of the industry as a whole – as well as the specific needs of our customers – adds strength to our already robust sales and product development team,” said FCCC Director of Sales and Marketing Tony Sippel. “He is well known and well respected in this industry, and we are confident his expertise will be invaluable to our customers.”

Prior to joining FCCC, Matusz managed accounts with industry-leading names in the bus and RV fields. Applying his degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University, he also provided technical training and support to OEMs, dealers and end-users. As FCCC continues to introduce innovative technology, Matusz will be charged with ensuring that healthy working relationships are maintained between FCCC and the OEM.

“I’m excited to join what I know to be a well-run company with strong brand recognition and leadership,” Matusz said. “I believe FCCC has a strong future as an industry leader in this market, I am eager to bring my experience to this great company and help play a part in that continued growth and success.”
