Brenda Walker has been named director of finance for SunLine Transit Agency. Over the past 30 years, Walker has served in various leadership and management position within the public and private sectors. During her tenure at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), Walker served as deputy director of operations and business support, interim director of transportation planning and development, budget manager where she was responsible for managing the agency’s $800 million dollar operating budget, and capital asset manager where she was responsible for the development and management of the agency-wide capital investment plan (CIP) totaling more than $25 billion dollars in assets.
Walker holds a bachelor's degree in human relations and a master's degree in public administration. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program and Eno Transit Executive Leadership Program.
