IED Response on Mass Transit and Passenger Rail Systems

This course, approved by FEMA, provides an environment for first responders to perform tactical operations in a scenario-driven exercise. The course features realistic conditions involving a post-blast IED incident on a mass transit/passenger rail system. Training includes classroom presentations, hands-on performance based training, and a full-scale realistic exercise at the Center for National Response (CNR ) Memorial Tunnel in Gallagher, West Virginia.

Target Audience
This three-day course will target audience including emergency medical services, fire services, hazardous materials, and law enforcement.

CEU’s
Students will receive 2.8 CEU’s at the completion of the course

Required Prerequisites
Sucessful completion of the following ICS courses are: IS-100, 200, 300, 700 and 800.
