After nearly 50 years in public transportation, including 15 years leading the San Mateo County Transit District, Michael J. Scanlon on Wednesday informed the District Board of Directors he is retiring.
The San Mateo County Transit District issued the following statement in response to the news release from the San Mateo County District Attorney’s office regarding the finance and accounting practices of the district:
