Vapor Door Systems to be featured in MARTA zero-emission New Flyer buses

Vapor Bus International will supply passenger door systems for six, zero-emission, battery-electric transit buses.

Vapor Bus International, a Wabtec Company, has been selected by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) to provide door systems for zero-emission transit buses, announced John Condon, Vapor-Wabtec Bus Solutions, vice president of sales, North America.

Vapor Bus International, an equipment supplier for the North American transit bus industry, will supply passenger door systems for six, zero-emission, battery-electric transit buses. The buses will be built by New Flyer. The MARTA vehicle order is supported by funding from the Federal Transit Administration's Low or No Emission Grant Program for buses powered by modern, efficient technologies.
