On Thursday, June 23rd, the Transportation Association of Maryland announced its Annual Transportation Excellence Awards to recognize distinction in community transportation throughout the state of Maryland. Nominations are accepted in the following categories: Friend of Transportation, Driver of the Year, Outstanding Program, Unsung Employee of the Year, and Business Partner of the Year. Nominations are available online and must be submitted by August 16th.
TAM's Annual Awards will announced in September during its Conference & Expo in Ocean City, MD which hosts over 100 transportation professionals. TAM encourages all members to submit a nomination; non members may be nominated by members in the following categories: Unsung Transit Employee of the Year, Friend of Transportation, and Outstanding Program Award.
