The Collier MPO Board has selected Anne McLaughlin as its new executive director. She brings a stellar wealth and breadth of experience with her; most recently as the statewide planning bureau chief for the New Mexico DOT. As the bureau chief, McLaughlin was responsible for the provision of technical assistance and regulatory oversight to MPOs; development and implementation of statewide plans for long-range transportation planning and highway safety, and financial management of federal transportation funds. Prior to working for the New Mexico DOT, McLaughlin oversaw a large municipal planning staff responsible for development review, long range planning, and building and zoning code enforcement.
An opportunity to meet McLaughlin will occur Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Collier County Growth Management Division, Conference Rooms.
