Lane Transit District will salute America’s veterans for their service on Wednesday, November 11, by offering free rides system wide.
“LTD operators and administrative staff will honor veterans by wearing ribbons as an outward expression of our appreciation for the sacrifices made by these brave men and women,” says Andy Vobora, director of customer services and planning for LTD.
Veterans may simply share with their bus operator or fare collector on EmX that they are a veteran to receive an LTD day pass, good for travel on November 11.
LTD buses will operate regular weekday schedules for Veterans Day. The Customer Service Center, located at 11th and Willamette will be open regular hours, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information on holiday hours and schedules, visit LTD.org or call 541.687.5555.
