The TMA Group on behalf of the Franklin Transit Authority announces the release of the Cool Springs Multimodal Transportation Network Study Final Report by TranSystems. The report has been accepted by both the TMA Group Board of Directors and the Franklin Transit Authority.
The objectives of the study were to address the following needs in the Cool Springs area of Franklin: reduce roadway congestion; provide increased mobility options; support economic development opportunities; and protect the city of Franklin’s quality of life.
The final report includes the results of extensive public input and valued stakeholder interviews. Short-term, medium-term, and long-term options and recommendations are proposed as solutions for the increasing congestion and enhancements to current and future economic development and land use.
