StarMetro Offers Free Rides April 18

Tallahassee is being taken over April 18, with a wide variety of exciting festivals and activities.

To help you reach as many fun events as possible, StarMetro will provide fare-free rides on its fixed routes all day. Hop on the clean, air-conditioned StarMetro buses and discover how easy it can be to use the city of Tallahassee's mass transit system.If you're headed downtown, catch StarMetro's Downtown FunRide. Specifically catering to participants of the Chain of Parks Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Southern Shakespeare Festival at Cascades Park from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the FunRide will provide a relaxing and time-saving opportunity to get adventurous festival-goers to the heart of the action.

For the FunRide, StarMetro and Sustainable Tallahassee volunteers will be stationed at key locations around the city to assist new riders with learning how to ride the bus. Transit maps and schedules will be available for planning the return trip.
