NEC Display’s new MultiSync P554 commercial-grade display includes a thin, even bezel, flush surface and anti-glare panel coating. With a brightness of 700 candellas, active thermal management and full metal chassis, the 55-inch display contains multiple digital interfaces, including two HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 connections and Displayport 1.2. It also features advanced computing options, including an NEC system-on-a-chip, allowing customers to load content remotely or by USB. Intersection’s kiosks provide countdown to arrival, one-touch visual directions based on real-time train status, and neighborhood maps — all paid for by dynamic, contextually relevant advertising. While most digital kiosks offer only traditional DOOH, Intersection’s feature programmatic, TV/video and transactional capabilities. To date, there are a total of 185 kiosks in 42 stations across New York City.

E-Paper Bus Destination Displays

Transport for London bus stops use ePaper technology from E Ink to display real-time bus arrival times, travel information, route maps and schedules. The bus stops are solar powered, energy-efficient (only requiring power when updating content), highly-visible in all light conditions and can connect to the cloud to display accurate predictions and timing updates. This information is also syndicated from Transport for London’s open data feeds. The technology is delivered via a partnership with Technoframe.
