The zero-emission trollybus is equipped with a battery electric motor with an alternating current and with power save super caps - which allow for a quick charge.

At InnoTrans 2016 Belkommunmash unveiled its E433 Vitovt Max Electro trolleybus in InnoTran's first ever bus display. The zero-emission trollybus is equipped with a battery electric motor with an alternating current and with power save super caps - which allow for a quick charge. The ElectroBus charges from 30% power to 100% within five minutes and can run for 7.4 miles (12km) without overhead catenary.

The ElectroBus is designed for cities where trolleybus lines have not yet been installed and there are areas where catenaries are unable to be installed. In the drivers cab there is a control board with an LCD-display where the driver can monitor the trolleybus operations and the remaining charge left on the battery.

Other features include:

  • 18 seats that are in the low-floor area
  • Features for passengers with reduced mobility including ramps and seating area
  • The 59-foot trolleybus can hold 153 passengers
