“My father was a public transit operator in Prince George for 15 years before retiring in 2013, and through him I was exposed to some of the inner workings and intricacies of transit operations. He is a big reason why I chose to pursue a career in public transit following my studies at the University of Northern British Columbia.

“What I enjoy most is working with all stakeholders of public transit to impact the delivery of transit service in the community. I also enjoy working with all of my staff to create a common purpose and direction for our organization.

“It is rewarding to be involved in an industry that has such a significant impact on the community at large. The transit system in Prince George has grown significantly in the last several years, and it has been exciting to be a part of that growth and development.”
