Weekend flooding caused damage at the Seventh Avenue New Jersey Transit entrance at Penn Station, forcing the transit agency to close down the entrance, officials said.

Weekend flooding caused damage at the Seventh Avenue New Jersey Transit entrance at Penn Station, forcing the transit agency to close down the entrance, officials said.

The entrance concourse suffered "substantial damage" including collapsed ceiling tiles, NJ Tranist officials said on social media.

The entrance was shut down on Saturday, Aug. 11 and will be closed "until further notice," transit officials said.
