Chuck Pineda is a rail transit professional with 28 years of professional experience in the private and public sector. He has served 22 years in leadership roles on major rail infrastructure projects across the U.S. and has led multi-disciplined teams on large civil infrastructure projects utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and the latest project delivery methods, including several high-profile design-build projects.
A long time proponent of high-speed rail, Chuck is a member and affiliate of various associations, including American Rail Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) and American Public Transit Association (APTA) where he has contributed to the development of high-speed rail, and rail transit standards for use in the U.S.
Chuck is a registered professional engineer and a graduate of NYU Polytechnic with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
