Christopher Holliday Promoted to Senior Vice President at STV

 



Christopher J. Holliday, P.E., has been promoted to senior vice president at STV. He will continue in his role of national leader for the firm’s Transportation and Infrastructure’s systems and security practices, a position he was promoted to in October 2009, and report to William F. Matts, P.E., executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Transportation & Infrastructure Division.

Holliday has more than 25 years of rail experience, including extensive work in the design, manufacture and procurement of rolling stock and equipment.

In leading STV’s vehicle, systems and security practice, he guides a 115-person staff in developing and executing major projects throughout the northeast and central regions of the United States. He has spearheaded projects for STV with numerous transportation agencies, including the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, the Virginia Railway Express, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, NJ TRANSIT, Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation, the American Public Transportation Association, Amtrak, Long Island Rail Road, and the Agence Metropolitaine de Transport in Montreal, Canada.

A licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Holliday earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
