Nomad Digital has appointed a new Regional Sales Director North America, to oversee Nomad’s current and future business opportunities in the USA and Canada.
Steve Zwart is a highly-experienced professional in the rail and digital industry. He will lead a sales and customer management team focused on driving customer satisfaction and developing new relationships across the territory.
Zwart’s rail and systems experience in the States will enable him to nurture relationships with current customers such as Amtrak and VIA Rail through stronger focus on their priorities and challenges, gaining a greater understanding of their requirements and reinforcing Nomad’s unique value proposition.
Zwart joins Nomad from Lilee Systems where he was the senior director solutions and software for two years. Prior to that, he worked for Alstom in North America for 13 years across the digital rail on-board environment in various management roles.
Nomad’s Chief Commercial Officer, Jean-Philippe Tissot, said “Steve will be a key asset to reinforce our teams with their ongoing work with transport operators and influencers in USA and Canada. His undoubted knowledge of the territory means he can hit the ground running, and his technical expertise, experience and leadership qualities will be a huge asset to support our team in North America.”
