On Monday, July 3rd, TransIT Services of Frederick County will begin service on the North Frederick Shuttle (NFS). The NFS will operate along East Street and North Market Street extended to Monocacy Blvd/MD Rt. 26 Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. until 4:55 p.m. The shuttle will help to better serve the growing demand in this corridor while also helping to alleviate timing issues on the #65 Walkersville Connector. Stops along the North Frederick Shuttle route include Fredericktown Village, The Shops at Monocacy, and the new Walmart, and Clemson Corner.
With implementation of the North Frederick Shuttle, the #65 Walkersville Connector will have some service changes Monday through Friday; Saturday service will remain unchanged. For more detailed information on the changes, please see the attached map and timetable.
