ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC has announced it is beginning production on six Spirit of Liberty buses for Avondale, Arizona, a contract that was procured by Marcus Hoffman of Creative Bus Sales’ Phoenix location.

The Spirit of Liberty is a rear-engine medium duty low-floor bus with unmatched floorplan flexibility. It can accommodate up to 37 passengers with an industry leading six wheelchair positions and exceeds ADA guidelines with a 1:6 ramp slope for passengers who need extra assistance and wheelchair accessibility, making the Spirit of Liberty a perfect fit for Avondale Transit. Avondale Transit is located in Maricopa County, Arizona and is part of the Regional Public Transit Authority (RPTA). These vehicles will be used for fixed route transit services within the borders of the City of Avondale.

Creative Bus Sales was the facilitating dealer between the RPTA and the City of Avondale, utilizing the State of Arizona ADOA contract held by CBS. Creative Bus Sales, over the past couple years, has sold various ARBOC Spirit class vehicles to transit agencies throughout the State of Arizona and their contract with the State of Arizona will continue for another three years, making ARBOC products available for a few years to come.
