Patrick Kennedy is the newest member appointed to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit board of directors by the Dallas City Council.
Kennedy, a planner and urban designer, started an urban planning, landscape architecture, and consulting firm in Dallas called Space Between Design Studio in 2009. He has more than 15 years of experience in various sectors including mixed-use projects, sustainability, regional urban parks, downtown revitalization/strategic planning studies, design guidelines, and comprehensive new town developments.
He is currently a member of the Real Estate Council, the Urban Land Institute, and Congress for the New Urbanism.
Kennedy graduated from The Pennsylvania State University School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in State College with a focus in Urban Design and Sustainability.
