Nomad Digital’s partnership with ÖBB (the primary Austrian rail operator) continued at InnoTrans this year, where Nomad ran a series of demonstrations of its ND LiveTV solution. Nomad’s launch of its ND LiveTV solution was heralded as a world-first in the delivery of live terrestrial-broadcast TV over IP for the rail market.
This reinforces the 10-year strategic partnership between Nomad Digital and ÖBB, which has included the design, development and implementation of its next-generation train connectivity and passenger WiFi solution across ÖBB’s intercity and long-distance Railjet fleet. Nomad’s solution also includes its next-generation portal - ND Portal Content Management System - which features advanced passenger information and content, including a full media and infotainment capability.
