The American Trucking Associations has announced SmartDrive has renewed as an ATA Featured Product provider.

“Video technology is changing the game for motor carriers throughout the trucking industry,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “Whether a motor carrier is using a video safety solution, like SmartDrive, to improve coaching techniques, identify areas of risk or enhance overall safety programs, I’m confident any fleet using video is finding tremendous value.”

The SmartDrive SmartChoice Program is once again participating in the ATA Featured Product program. The SmartDrive SmartChoice Program is a comprehensive video-based safety program that provides fleets the freedom to choose the level of video protection that best aligns with their specific business priorities and needs, today and in the future. The SmartChoice program reduces collisions, delivering results validated by independent actuaries, and includes SmartDrive Shield, SmartDrive Defender and SmartDrive Assurance which offer fleets the flexibility to start now, upgrade at any time and protect their investment by leveraging existing hardware for immediate and long-term video safety needs.

“SmartDrive is proud to once again support ATA and its mission to promote transportation safety,” said Steve Mitgang, CEO of SmartDrive. “Our industry is experiencing a shift towards video safety because of its ability to protect fleets and provide unique insights into driving performance. As an innovator in this category, our focus is helping fleets improve safety and unlock new opportunities to drive fleet efficiency – it’s the value our solutions deliver and the promise we make to our customers.”

Along with being an ATA Featured Product provider, SmartDrive is also a supporter of ATA’s Share the Road highway safety program. The Share the Road program is a nationwide safety tour designed to teach young drivers safe-driving habits when operating near large tractor-trailers.
