Plymouth Man With Warrants Draws Attention to Himself

On June 16, 2016 at approximately 7:15PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were on patrol at the MBTA's Tufts Medical Center Station when their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Anthony Binsfield, 32, of Plymouth.

On June 16, 2016 at approximately 7:15PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were on patrol at the MBTA's Tufts Medical Center Station when their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Anthony Binsfield,  32, of Plymouth.

Binsfield was inhaling an unknown substance from a glass pipe. Officers approached Binsfield who proceeded to furnish the officers with misleading information relative to his identity. Officers eventually ascertained Binsfield's true name and subsequently discovered there were several warrants in existence for his arrest issued from: Dedham District Court for Larceny, Plymouth District Court for Larceny from a Building, Credit Card Larceny and Larceny Over 250.00 (3 counts). Binsfield was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.

 During the booking process Binsfiled was found to be in possession of what the officers believed to be Heroin. Binsfield will be additional charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
