On June 22, visitors to the “RTA Experience” got a sneak peek into the future and previewed the technology upgrades that will make using transit easier in Dayton.
The transit agency also offered an incentive to encourage new riders to integrate public transportation into everyday travel through the Try Transit Pledge. Visitors to the event who pledged to try transit for a week received one of a limited number of free seven-day passes. Over 100 people signed the pledge to try transit.
RTA featured the new “RTA Ride Time,” a real-time system that will allow customers to log onto the RTA Ride Time app and see what time the next three buses will be arriving at their stop.
